About Shirley Green
Shirley Green, originally from Scotland, operates her photography business in Union Square, Manhattan. The studio specializes in photography for book covers for publishing houses including Simon and Schuster, Bantam and Harlequin.
Published work includes: Gossamyr (Harlequin), Crimson Moon (Dorchester) and Unleash the Night (St. Martin's press).
She works with the following agencies: Mc Donald Richards and Ford Kids for young people's photography. This work can be viewed on the book covers in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Nancy Drew Mystery series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Wizard of Oz and Children's Classic Series.
Shirley also has experience in photojournalism and has been published in The Dublin Irish Times for her landscape work. Her education includes photography at Parsons, film at NYU and childrens psychology.
